Our programs currently serve students from ages 13-18 throughout the year within our middle school, high school, and Extended School Year (ESY) curricula.
The middle school consists of self-contained classes for sixth and seventh grade and a departmentalized program for eighth grade students. The sixth and seventh grade classes, in addition to the core requirements, will also have the opportunity to cycle through electives, including music, art, study skills, and online technology classes. Holmstead does not currently have six and seventh graders enrolled for the 2023-2024 school year.
The high school program is fully departmentalized and provides the students with a diverse assortment of elective options in addition to the state-requirement classes. Courses that are not available through our current program, such as other World Language options, may be accessed through online programs.
Our ESY program will include both academic remediation, course recovery, and either paid or unpaid internship opportunities in the community.
