Our programs currently serve students from ages 13-18 throughout the year within our middle school, high school, and Extended School Year (ESY) curricula.
At present, despite being state approved for self-contained sixth and seventh grade, Holmstead does not have any students enrolled for those grades for the 2023-2024 school year. Eighth graders are fully departmentalized for the state approved eighth grade curriculum and are cycled through music, art, and Spanish classes.
The high school program is fully departmentalized and provides the students with a diverse assortment of elective options in addition to the state-requirement classes. Courses that are not available through our current program, such as other World Language options, may be accessed through online programs.
Our ESY program will include both academic remediation, course recovery, and either paid or unpaid internship opportunities in the community.
