The senior and underclass student councils are elected by peers to initiate and manage activities and fund raisers. Each council runs a monthly pizza sale for the students and faculty. The senior class is also responsible for charitable fundraisers and the senior/junior prom at the end of the year. The underclass is responsible for the school store which offers students alternative lunches and snacks during breaks and lunch. They are also responsible for fundraisers and the annual Six Flags trip at the end of the year. Every Holmstead student prospers from the leadership of the student council.
